Is Attitude Everything?
Posted by: | CommentsI was listening to my good friend Troy Dooly on his Radio Show “Radio for your Mind”. and he inspired me to think about this quote for myself.
“The Greatest discovery of my generation is that a human being can alter his life by altering his attitudes of mind”
William James
So what are your thoughts on it?
Read One Book a Month and Become Like a Average Millionaire
Posted by: | CommentsThis year I have made it an object to read at least one book a month or more. I remember as I was growing up I use to hate to read, and felt as it was boring and never got nothing out of it. But as I got older I started to understand the power of reading and obtaining knowledge through books. Also not just a head knowledge, but a knowledge that I could apply in my everyday life.
Charlie “Tremendous” Jones said, “You are the same today as you’ll be in five years except for two things: the books you read and the people you meet.”
The more you read, the more you learn. I believe reading will affect your behavior, teach you how to be a great leader, and also is great way to train and educate yourself.
Did you know that the average millionaire reads a book a month?
When I saw this, I knew that the decision I made was the correct one. I use to have a hard time getting time to read, but it wasn’t that I didn’t have time; I didn’t make time to read. I started to see reading as choice just like my health. We all have choices to make, and choices have consequences. These days we have made it so easy to read with services like audible, audio books and etc. So really the time excuse is out the window too.
When I say read don’t get me wrong, I’m not talking about some science fiction book or suspense thriller. I mean good a book that is going to help you in your personal life, something that you can apply to your business, marriage, and etc. Start taking charge of the person you want to be come and all starts with a book.
Here are some books I have read and recommend to anyone who is looking for a good book.
Conspiracy of the Rich by Robert Kiyosaki
“The MBA courses I took trained you on how to take care of a company, not your life”
—Laura, Scottsdale, AZ (first online interactive book)
Tribes by Seth Godin
“This book has an amazing set of tools for leadership. I learned that leaders initiate instead of react or respond. Good stuff!”
—Suzanne Simms, Vice President of Affiliate Relations
The 21 Irrefutable Laws of Leadership by John C. Maxwell
“The Ideas presented in the 21 Irrefutable Laws of Leadership are simple, clear, and easy to grasp—yet profound! It’s an enjoyable, easy-to-read book that is educational yet entertaining. Whether you are a recent graduate just beginning your career, or a seasoned executive, this book is worth reading… and keeping at hand as a leadership reference guide.”
—Tom Whatley, President, U.S. Sales, Mary Kay Inc.
Remember, leaders are readers, regardless of age or profession. What kind of leader do you want to be in this year? Start becoming it today!
Allegory of the Cave and your Job do they have anyhting in common?
Posted by: | CommentsMy goal with this post is to help other struggling Network’s to find hope, by bringing thought provoking ideas, marketing techniques, and just plan Motivational tips. I hope that this will be truly enriching to your life, and not just to your success, but spiritually and mentally. I think all of these have a huge factor in achieving great success.
I remember seeing Anthony or “Tony” Robbins a while back and he talked about the idea of being just a couple millimeters off from turning everything around. I think that is so true, and I hope through my studies, and just critically thinking deeply about certain things; that this will truly help you find out where you might be a couple millimeters off in life.
Also I hope that this can be a help for those who are at the edge of quitting. Owning businesses in both realms, I’m a 100% sure that owning your own business is the best way for people to make real income and change their families life’s for generations with the right company or idea. So I would love to be able to give my time to others who are really at the point where they can’t see the light at the end of the tunnel. This reminds me of the “Allegory of the Cave” by “Plato” I will give you short abbreviated version of it. Basically it’s a dark underground cave where people are all sitting with their backs turned to the cave’s opening, They are chained to the chair at an early age. Now this is where it’s get’s interesting. There are other people in the cave to and they are referred to as Puppet-Masters and they never see them. Well the crazy thing is that the people don’t even know that they are prisoners. Their reality has been shaped at an early age. Because this is all they have ever known. Then the Puppet-Masters hold objects that are flickering through the fire to produce shapes on the wall. The prisoners are only able to look forward because they are chained that way. Well one man escaped the cave “which “Plato” called an intellectual one”, and finally gets to see the true images, like trees and grass, sun, and ect. He is amazed, and tries to go back and tell others, and they say what are you talking about, we have everything here; why would want to escape this!
I hope this hit’s home and I would encourage you to read and think about it. Last time I remembered, this is the land of opportunity, not the land of job. So if I can help anyone be free from the Matrix, Cave and etc, please let me know. Again I will bring stories and thoughts like this to help people strive harder to get out.

Last thing I will say is this. What is your “WHY”? This is the most important thing, and it should be something that is convicting to you and personal. That you can’t quit, because that “WHY” will stare you in the face every time you look in the mirror. When the trials of life come and beat down upon you, and your telling yourself that you can never do this, I want you to stop yourself, and quit listening to “THE HOW” Quit asking How am I going to do this. “Les Brown” says give that “HOW” to God, and just do. Learn something new, try a new system, and ect. If what your doing is not working, try to learn something that can help you turn things around. Remember in the beginning of the first paragraph, you are just a couple of millimeters off having things turn-around.
Get Referrals After The “NO”
Posted by: | CommentsSo many times we are talking to somebody who is not interested in what you have but you have some what a good rapport with this person, or more in likely it’s a friend, and they were kind enough to look at the info. Then they say no it’s not for me, but Thank you for showing me. Then usually people will hang up the phone. Well I want to tell you how I have learned to get into people’s warm contact list without even signing the main person up, or the funny thing I sign up one of the referrals and come back to them and get them in the business too. I hope this take your business to the next notch.
