Don’t be the Robert Falcon Scott of the Network Marketing Industry..
Posted by: | CommentsIn 1911, Two groups of Explorers set off on incredible journey. Thought they used different strategies and routes, the leaders of the teams had the same goal: to be the first in history to reach the South Pole. Their stories are life-and-death illustrations of the Law of Navigation. “John C. Maxwell”
In his book “The 21 Laws Irrefutable LAW OF LEADERSHIP”
The Story starts off with both men planing their strategy on how to reach the South Pole. Ronald Amundsen with careful painstaking details, critically thought about his route and the things he would use to get there. He even did some research of the methods of Eskimos and other experience arctic travelers and analyze the best course of action. He even thought about how to transport equipment and supplies by dog sled. He chose experts in the skiing field, and also had expert dog handlers help him on the mission. He even came up with strategy of how the dogs and the explores would rest, so that way they could make it there and back. There is so much more if go and read the story and the journal he kept of the exploration.
Now before I go onto the next part I want to stop here to ask you a question. “Did you have this type of care for your MLM or Network Marketing Business?” do you really strategically plan out your marketing plan, and continually evaluate how you’re going to start this wonderful mission in starting your business.
I’m so amazed how lazy some people are and how they care for there business in general. I think some people think that this is just a hobby, and I really don’t care too much about it. Well, “WHY WOULD YOU START A BUSINESS WITH THAT THINKING?”
Okay Now let’s continue with the story at hand. Robert Falcon Scott who was a British Naval Officer and even had some exploring in the Antarctic area. He really didn’t plan as well. His thought was too use motorized sledges and ponies. After 5 days the motors gave out, and soon as the ponies reached Trans antarctic Mountains they had to kill them all, because they couldn’t withstand the cold temperatures. So then they had to pull the sleds of all the equipment and supplies. Also Robert didn’t plan the gear out very well either. There gear started to wear down and they developed frostbite, and also their goggles were inadequate and everyone became snowblind. Also on all of that, he didn’t plan out the food and water out correctly and they were always low on both.
The story get’s worst for Robert and his crew, but one good thing was they did make it to the South Pole, but none of them made it back. The only reason we know of there journey is because they found journals of the crew. One thing they noted was Robert the leader of the expedition said “I am just going outside; I may be sometime.” Then he walk out into a blizzard.
So ask yourself what man are you. Have you seriously sat down and mapped out the course for this venture you about to partake in, or have you jump hoping some how everything will work out. Also if you have done the later it’s still not too late to put together a strategy for success.
I hope that this will help you critically think about your business and set you on a path, that will lead you to your South Pole experience. Please take this to heart and don’t become part of the graveyard of people who have started in the industry only to end in death of the dreams and goals that they wanted to reach.

MLM is a Relationship Business, learn how to do it or fail.
Posted by: | CommentsI know a lot of times we always here about internet marketing, and there is a lot of hype out there about it. I see ad’s all the time, saying that you will never have to pick up a phone and sell anybody. When I see that I know that they want to reach the people who are lazy in the pursuit to success. If you think that you will never have to call anyone to make a sale, I have a huge amount of Ocean Front Property I want to sail you in Arizona.
This is a relationship industry, and people will get in business with you, because they trust you, or they like who you are. A simple phone call will put you ahead of the pack. Know I’m not saying you have to be a tele-marketer when you call them, and just talk about your product. But just a simple 5 minutes in getting to know who that person is.
I do this same thing when I’m out and about in the public all the time. I love going out and just developing a conversation with someone you don’t know, and they just pour out there story. The technique that I use that has been use way before I was even born, is called forming people.
Acronym is F.O.R.M.
So next time you have a chance to pick up the phone, I want you to think about this simple technique and apply it to your business. I have been selling some product since I was 10 years old. One thing I have learned over my years, is that the person who builds the best relationship most of the time wins. So I have built a simple diagram for you to follow, and I probably could have wrote so much more on this subject. But I want you to apply this in your every day life and see how your relationship with people will grow.
I would love to hear your feedback, and if there are any other things you do to build that relationship. I hope this helps you in your business and I look forward to your testimonies.

Tim Erway on Attraction Marketing
Posted by: | CommentsThere was a discussion on Betternetworker.com and Tim Erway chimed in. If you are new and don’t know who he is, Google his name and you will be amazed. This is a must read and we should get it out there. Don’t get caught up with others who don’t understand how this works. I have friends who get paid big bucks to do this exact same thing for companies. If you want to be successful in Branding and Business you need to apply this thinking to you business Period.
So the Topic was: Starting to “disagree” with Attraction Marketing
Guys, I think there’s a misconception about what attraction marketing really means, because I honestly can’t fathom that anyone who has read Magnetic Sponsoring would disagree with the concepts taught in the course.
Attraction marketing is, at it’s core, about two things, both of which are absolutely essential for success in this industry.
1. Leadership development
2. Good marketing
That’s it.
If you disagree with attraction marketing, you’re essentially saying that developing yourself into a leader is not a worthwhile goal, and good marketing isn’t necessary in “network marketing.”
Well guys, with all due respect, that is absolutely ludicrous.
If you’ve read Magnetic Sponsoring, you would see how insane the assertion is that “attraction marketing doesn’t work.”
Before you knock attraction marketing or Magnetic Sponsoring, consider this…
Network marketing is an industry with a 99% failure rate.
People fail in network marketing because they either aren’t willing or able to do the necessary work to develop their leadership skills and/or they don’t know how/where to find qualified prospects for their business.
Let’s talk about both of these skills…
Leadership
Leadership is the absolute most important factor that will determine the success in any venture.
Someone has to have the vision and determination to take a business idea from concept to successful enterprise.
Someone has to learn how to find talented people and get them aligned with their vision.
Ladies and gents, that is leadership. And it’s the difference between success and failure in network marketing, or any business for that matter.
Leaders are not leaders because of products, compensation plans, marketing systems, etc. They are leaders because they are MASTERS at understanding and leading people.
If dip-shit Joe who lives in a double-wide trailer jumps out of his beat up pick-up truck with his wife beater t-shirt on smelling like whiskey and cigarettes, approached you to try and recruit you into the best opportunity with the best compensation plan in the world, I guarantee you’re not going to join him.
That is unless of course, Joe is your best friend and drinking buddy, who’s trailer is parked right next to yours.
What I’m getting at is that you will attract what you are.
Attraction marketing is first, and foremost, about developing and positioning yourself as a leader so you can attract other leaders.
Do you disagree with that?
If so, go ahead and hop in your beat up pick-up truck, drive on over to your local bar and go “share the plan” with Joe. By 6PM he should be liquored up enough to sign the distributor agreement form, I’m sure of it.
Oh, and don’t forget about your Aunt Sally, who just changed her depression medication last week. She seems to be doing much better and is probably ripe for a life-changing opportunity.
Marketing
Good marketing is necessary unless you enjoy the belly to belly aspect of building a business one person at a time. If you do, you’re a rare individual and as long as you enjoy it, you may never need to learn marketing.
For most of us however, the idea of prospecting everyone who comes within 3 feet is not only absolutely terrifying, but it’s probably most inefficient and LEAST effective way to build an organization quickly.
Seriously, it’s like throwing freaking mud against the wall to see what sticks.
I pity the fool who approaches me to try and recruit me into his MLM. That guy is an ASS! Yep, I said it. He’s a complete ass because he doesn’t even freaking know me and he’s trying to get me into his “deal” so he can make a commission from me.
(BTW… I’ve BEEN that ass, that’s why I can call him that)
Listen, attraction marketing is not about wasting your time, money and energy on bringing in massive amounts of losers who won’t stick around anyway.
It’s about having the luxury of being selective in who you do business with. This is done with good marketing.
Good marketing is all about implementing marketing systems and qualification processes that sort out tire-kickers and losers so you talk to only the most qualified prospects.
It’s about shifting your mindset from “I NEED THEM” to “THEY NEED ME.”
That, ladies and gents, is attraction marketing in a nutshell.
For those of you who’ve read Magnetic Sponsoring, you already “get it”, so I’m preaching to the choir.
If you haven’t read Magnetic Sponsoring yet, then before you knock the idea of attraction marketing, you better damn well know what you’re talking about so we can have an intelligent conversation.
This may seem harsh, but it pisses me off when people “think” they understand something enough to talk about it with authority, when in reality they don’t know what the hell they’re talking about.
For those who’ve read, understood and for whatever reason, still disagree with attraction marketing (if there is such a person), then I will certainly respect and listen to your opinion without dishing out a verbal ass-kicking because at least you’ve done your due diligence and read the freaking book.
If you want to know more, get the book here and educate yourself.
Enough said
Tim Erway
Blogging is not a Spectator Sport, Get in the Game Network Marketers!
Posted by: | CommentsI have been talking to a lot of people lately and they want to know why it’s good to start a Blog. Well I went away to the Bat Cave and started to think about the question. I really wanted to offer a good answer that would add value you to their business. Well after thinking about it I have come up with some good food for thought.
First let me ask you a quick question. “Would you buy from a company that had no presence online?” I think for me that question is easy to answer, and it would be “No” for me. Companies spend billions of dollars to convince you that they are the right one for you in whatever they’re selling, and if they don’t have a web presence makes me think twice about them.
I think we need to think like this ourselves but on a budget we can afford. We are not going to go out and hire advertising firm to sell our Network Marketing Business for us. But why not take an approach and put together a serious business strategy as a company would when approaching the idea of advertising there product.
!. Start to develop a Brand Identity. For Example: Think about what is going to be your specialty in this industry and go after that niche. Companies do this all the time, and I have a friend who has done this for fortune 500 companies, and they pay him big bucks.
2. Now you have a Game Plan, Get in the game. I watch sports all the time and love watching them play the game. It’s like a beautiful painting in motion. But how much has Lebron James, Randy Moss, or Yankees done for your business. One thing that sets you apart from then is that they put the jersey on and play. It’s time we take our jersey “called life” put it on, and develop your own fans in your industry.
People follow you, because you are doing what they won’t do, and that is get started period.
3. You got a jersey on and ready to build a following. The best way I have done that myself is start a Blog or Website about YOU! “Not your business”. Set yourself apart from others in the industry and watch your business grow.
Now you are becoming a superstar as the big names I mention before. People following you and buying your jersey “MLM Training or Company you’re in” going to your games “Seminars that you develop to teach people your knowledge” and tell others about you skills and build you a following.
Overall Your Blog or Website will set you apart from others who are not willing to treat this as business. This is not a “Hobby” this is your business; treat it like one.
Caution: Don’t think you are going to just start a Blog or Website and the traffic is going to roll in. Remember Branding doesn’t happen overnight, and you need to build over time. So if you are not adding value and just pitching people to join with you; you just ignored everything I said.
Remember people buy into “YOU” not your business. I could get involve in Ice Cream deal, and people will follow me because of my Leadership and Care for my team.
So add value by entertaining, enlightening, and educating others with your Knowledge. You can do that in so many ways and I will talk about that in other segments.
I have posted a link for a step-by-step video on How to setup a Blog from of the best in the country at the bottom of the page. He’s know for this, and it’s his special niche in this industry along with many other things.
Watch this video and if you want to learn more about Training system Click on this link and take our $1 dollar trail. Really are you going to let one dollar hold you back from changing your business; I hope NOT!
